The MTCC has launched a Traffic Awareness Programme aimed at promoting road safety and improving employees’ understanding of traffic regulations. This initiative is designed to educate staff on safe driving practices, the significance of traffic signs, and the importance of adhering to road safety rules, ultimately enhancing the safety of both employees and the wider public.
Targeted at government offices and corporate entities, this programme strives to raise awareness about traffic hazards and road safety. The involvement of MTCC employees in this initiative is supported by law enforcement agencies.
The launch ceremony took place yesterday, officiated by MTCC Managing Director and Retired Deputy Commissioner of Police Ahmed Saudi. Attendees included Chief Superintendent of Police Hussain Sameer, Head of Traffic Police and Road Management, Superintendent of Police Ahmed Faseeh, Head of Road Safety Awareness and Prevention, and Chief Inspector of Police Mohammed Dimham, Head of Awareness and Prevention Unit.
Running from the 15th to the end of this month, the programme will provide valuable insights into road traffic laws, regulations, and safety measures.
