Azma Ibrahim is thrilled to announce her new role as Human Resources Director at the Maldives Occupational Safety & Health Association (MOSHA). MOSHA, established in 2023, is a pioneering organization committed to promoting and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety in workplaces throughout the Maldives. The organization’s mission aligns perfectly with Azma’s passion for creating safe, efficient, and productive work environments, making this role an exciting new chapter in her career.
Azma’s educational background has laid a strong foundation for her career progression. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West of England (Villa College), where she developed a keen interest in Banking, Finance, Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Management Accounting. In addition to her MBA, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution, which equipped her with a solid understanding of financial management and strategic decision-making. These qualifications have not only deepened her knowledge but also prepared her to take on leadership roles in complex and dynamic sectors.
Azma’s career trajectory reflects her dedication to excellence and her commitment to personal and professional growth. With her vast knowledge in both finance and human resources, she is well-prepared to address the evolving challenges of workplace safety and health in the Maldives. As the Human Resources Director at MOSHA, Azma will play a key role in shaping policies, strategies, and initiatives that will promote safe work practices, manage risks, and foster a culture of health and safety across diverse industries.
