Ahmed Shamool Abdullah has recently been appointed as the Director of Business Development and Marketing at Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited (FDC), a key player in providing affordable housing solutions in the Maldives. Mr. Shamool first joined FDC in November 2020 as the Manager of Business Development and Marketing and has since demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in his field. His promotion to the role of Director reflects his significant contributions to FDC’s success in expanding its business and marketing initiatives.
Mr. Shamool holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, bringing both academic knowledge and extensive professional experience to his new position. Before joining FDC, he worked at Amãna Takaful, where he served as a senior executive in Business Development. During his tenure, he played a key role in overseeing the Business Development Unit, focusing on enhancing the corporate image through public relations and marketing strategies. His leadership in formulating and implementing business growth strategies greatly expanded sales channels and increased the company’s visibility.
In addition to his accomplishments in the Maldives, Mr. Shamool gained valuable international experience through his work with the Amãna Takaful group in Sri Lanka. This exposure provided him with a broader perspective on business development and marketing, equipping him with the skills necessary to navigate diverse markets and implement innovative strategies across borders.
With over 10 years of experience in the business development sector, Ahmed Shamool Abdullah continues to bring fresh ideas and forward-thinking strategies to FDC.
