With over 14 years in the hospitality industry, Sherzod brings a rich blend of experience and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service. His career has been shaped by a commitment to excellence and a drive to create memorable guest experiences.
Sherzod’s journey in hospitality began in 2011 in Dushanbe, where he initially served as a Guest Service Team Lead at a newly opened hotel. His exceptional work quickly led to his promotion to Duty Manager, setting the stage for his future success. In 2014, he broadened his horizons by joining the prestigious Redang Island Resort in Malaysia, where he spent nearly two years enhancing his skills in a global setting.
In 2016, Sherzod returned to Dushanbe, assuming the role of Assistant Front Office Manager. His dedication and expertise soon earned him a promotion to Front Office Manager in 2018, where he excelled for six years. During this period, he also took on responsibilities in eCommerce and Revenue Management, showcasing his versatility and strategic capabilities. In 2023, Sherzod expanded his international experience further by taking up a role at a 4-star resort in Seychelles.
Alongside his professional achievements, Sherzod holds a degree in Economics from Russian Slavonic University and pursued a Hospitality Management degree from Cornell University, which he completed in 2020. Guided by the belief that “service comes from the heart, and only people make the difference,” Sherzod’s values align perfectly with the ethos of Canareef Resort Maldives.
