Recently, Ozen Reserve Bolifushi celebrated the graduation of eight colleagues who successfully completed the Atmosphere Colleague Development Program that was institutionalized earlier this year at Atmosphere Core. The colleagues dressed in black cloaks and mortar boards, befitting of fresh graduates, were welcomed warmly to the red carpet leading to the stage by the Vice President of Human Resources Mr. Vijayan Balachandran and the senior management of the resort during the convocation ceremony.
In the month of December, similar events of graduation were conducted across the properties of Atmosphere Core and attended by the senior leadership. At Ozen Reserve Bolifushi, the graduates were felicitated in a convocation ceremony and handed over their graduation certificates by the leaders of the Atmosphere Core company. The evening was followed up by snacks and dinner for the group.
Besides the VP HR Mr. Balachandran, the event was attended by the General manager Ms. Monica Coppetta, the Resort Manager Mr. Rohit Chhettri, the Director of Human Resources Mr. Ahmed Asbaab and the Learning and Development Manager Mr. Satyam Sengupta along with a turnout from their departmental HODS, supervisors and coworkers.
Mr. Vijayan highlighted the next steps of the journey for the eight fresh graduates and wished them all the very best for the future as he concluded the ceremony.
During the course of the year these graduates, the group received curated learning and developmental inputs from within the resort as well as external sources through a plan curated by Ms. Annepaul Vemagiri the Head of Learning and Development for Atmosphere Core. The ACDP program has been structured in three phases. The first phase is selecting the Hi Potential candidates through a series of filters including interviews conducted by the management team at Ozen Reserve Bolifushi. Once selected the Hi Potentials of HiPos are then welcomed into the program and explained about their journey plan by their supervisors and the Learning & Development Manager. Next, an Individual Training Need Analysis were created for the candidate according to the career progression goals and strategic need for each candidate. Phase two consists of actualizing the journey plan as per the timeline with a clutch of self-directed and trainer /mentor facilitated learning inputs. The final phase was successful graduation and moving into the next phase in the career journey.
With the expansion plans that the group has revealed, the program comes at a right time when the key need for the resort is to get talent to manage the positions in upcoming properties. A.C.D.P. is the group’s unique Talent Management and Talent development program. Atmosphere Core’s people philosophy aligns with the core purpose of #joyofgiving. Therefore, investing in the development of future talent is a key strategic direction the group consistently embraces. The Atmosphere Colleague Development Program of A.C.D.P. as it is known, was launched across the company under the stewardship of the Vice President Human Resources Mr. Vijayan Balachandran in the month of June 2023. The robust talent development program takes into consideration the existing pool of talent within the company and seeks to provide a structured career path for the selected team members enabled with learning inputs, one on one mentoring by senior leaders and self-driven journey plans.
