Mr. Nasru has been designated as the CEO and Curator of Around the Maldives travel UAE

Nasru, a highly accomplished leader in the Maldives, has always harbored a profound aspiration to contribute to the flourishing tourism industry of his country. In pursuit of this dream, Nasru became a part of the esteemed Sun Island Resort & Spa (Villa Park) in 2020, right after successfully attaining his BTEC National Diploma in Hotel, Catering & Institutional Operations. Over the course of a decade at Sun Island, Nasru has steadily ascended the organizational hierarchy, progressing from the position of a Reservations Agent to Assistant Reservations Manager.

Diving a little deep into Nasru’s career, it becomes evident that he dedicated more than ten years to providing exceptional service for Villa Group. He then transitioned to Anantara Kihavah Villas, assuming the role of Assistant Reservations Manager and playing a crucial role in the successful launch of the resort. Following this, he joined Huvafen Fushi, where he managed Reservations & Revenue and provided support to the Sales & Marketing Team.

Given his extensive experience and strong partnerships, Nasru was officially appointed as the Sales Manager for NIYAMA Private Islands. In this capacity, he undertook a cluster role, overseeing both Huvafen Fushi and NIYAMA. When he departed from Per AQUUM after approximately 4.5 years, Nasru had achieved the position of Cluster Senior Sales Manager for both Maldives properties.

Nasru’s next venture was joining Amilla Fushi, where he played a pivotal role as the Director of Sales. However, his journey didn’t end there. During his tenure at The Small Maldives Island Co, he welcomed the addition of FINOLHU to their collection. Continuing his impressive career trajectory, Nasru joined the esteemed 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐒 Maldives as the Director of Sales, overseeing the Sales & Marketing department. During his time at Baros Maldives, Nasru introduced new markets, further enhancing the legacy of this extraordinary island.

One of Nasru’s most significant milestones throughout his career, includes his involvement in the successful establishment of two renowned resorts in the Maldives: Waldorf Astoria Maldives and Patina Maldives, Fari Islands. His contributions have played a pivotal role in transforming these hidden gems of the Maldives into internationally acclaimed destinations, boasting remarkable success stories.

Following a dedicated 22-year tenure in the Maldives, he relocated to Dubai to oversee the management of Indian Ocean properties for JA Resorts & Hotels in his role as Director of Business Development. Nasru, driven by a long-standing aspiration, had always harbored a dream of establishing his own tour operator. Consequently, he firmly believes that the opportune moment has arrived for him to embark on realizing his cherished dream. Hence, he currently stands as a prominent CEO & Curator of Around The Maldives, a renowned tour operator headquartered in Dubai.

Addressing the younger generation pursuing a similar career Nasru highly emphasized the importance of continuous education. Nasru himself recognized the significance of education in shaping one’s professional trajectory, and diligently pursued further academic endeavors. In 2008, he accomplished his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the esteemed University College Birmingham. Nasru firmly believes that this educational journey has played a crucial role in his career development and success. Nasru further emphasized the importance of chasing one’s dream, as he believe it to be the secret behind his success.
